Terms of Service

Last updated 7 November 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Grid to Podium Team, a team based in India (“we”, “us”). They cover your use of Grid to Podium: the website at gridtopodium.com, the app at app.gridtopodium.com, and the files it creates. By joining the waitlist or signing in, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

2. Not affiliated with iRacing

Grid to Podium is an independent fan project. It is not made, endorsed, sponsored or supported by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC.

iRacing® is a registered trademark of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. Names of cars, manufacturers, tracks and series belong to their owners. We use them only to describe content you can race in iRacing, and that use doesn't mean any of them endorse us.

For help with iRacing itself, contact iRacing. We can't help with your iRacing account.

3. Who can use Grid to Podium

  • You must be 16 or older.
  • You sign in with a Google account, and you're responsible for keeping it secure.
  • One person per account.
  • During testing, only people we invite can sign in. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee a place.

4. Using it with iRacing

  • To race the seasons Grid to Podium creates, you need your own iRacing membership and the cars and tracks involved. You're responsible for following iRacing's Terms of Use.
  • We will never ask for your iRacing username or password. If anyone claiming to be us does, don't give it to them.
  • “Export for iRacing” creates AI season and roster files in the format iRacing's AI Racing feature uses. You copy them into your own iRacing documents folder yourself. Grid to Podium doesn't install, change or connect to iRacing's software or servers.
  • iRacing can change its file formats and features at any time, so we can't promise the files will always work. Back up your iRacing documents folder before adding files.
  • Use exported files for offline AI racing only, as iRacing intends. Don't use Grid to Podium or its files to break iRacing's rules.

5. Your career is fiction

Teams, contracts, offers, salaries, prize money, sponsors, AI drivers and everything else that happens in your career are made up. Money in your career has no real-world value and can't be exchanged for anything. Any resemblance between AI drivers and real people is unintended.

6. Your content

“Your content” means what you enter: career and driver names, bug reports and results you add.

  • You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store and use it only as needed to run Grid to Podium for you.
  • If you send feedback or ideas, we can use them to improve Grid to Podium without owing you anything.
  • Don't enter anything unlawful, offensive or hateful, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or other people's personal information.
  • Only upload results files from sessions you took part in.

7. Fair use

Please don't:

  • try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren't yours, or disrupt or overload the service;
  • use bots, scrapers or scripts against Grid to Podium, or work around its limits;
  • copy, resell or commercially exploit Grid to Podium or the files it makes;
  • sell exported files or offer them in exchange for anything of value. Sharing them for free with friends for personal AI racing is fine;
  • present Grid to Podium as an official iRacing product, or use it in a way that suggests iRacing or any other brand endorses you.

8. Our content

We own Grid to Podium: its code, design, text, logo and the app's own names. We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable permission to use it while these terms apply. “Grid to Podium” and its logo are ours, and you may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.

9. Price

Grid to Podium is free while it's in testing. If we ever add paid features, we'll tell you in advance, and you won't be charged unless you choose to pay.

10. Changes and availability

Grid to Podium is in testing. Features may change or stop, it may be unavailable at times, and despite backups, data loss is possible. We can change or end the service. If we plan to shut it down, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.

11. Ending your use

You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first.

12. No warranties

Grid to Podium is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. This doesn't affect any rights you have as a consumer that can't be excluded by contract.

13. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, career progress or enjoyment. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months, which for a free service is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If you believe something in Grid to Podium infringes your rights, email hello@gridtopodium.com with the details, and we'll look into it quickly.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using Grid to Podium after that, the new terms apply.
